The Via Alpina, Jubilaumsweg, Heilbronner Weg or E5 route are some of the classic high routes we may encounter on our trips in the allgau region.

The Eastern Alps E5 route runs from Lake Constance in lowland Switzerland through the alps of Germany and Austria to Verona in Italy. This recognised long-distance walking route is remarkably varied and immensely rewarding. The 585.5kms takes you through mountain cultures and languages of four countries, landscapes unrivalled from glaciers to villages, and takes around one month to complete.

Our Explore E5 treks take on sections of the route, 5 days at a time. You can join us for a section at a time or contact us to tailor two or more sections over 2 weeks.

A week of walking in the Swiss Alps "Explore the Europaweg" or “The classic walkers Haute Route” will leave you astounded and in awe of what nature has to offer.
